Agri-Food Pilot

The Agri-Food pilot program in Canada is industry-specific and is aimed at attracting non-seasonal livestock and farm workers who have the intention of settling and remaining in Canada, particularly in the meat processing, animal raising, green housing, and mushroom production sectors. 

Eligibility for the Agri-food pilot Canada program depends on having a valid job offer in one of the specialized occupations along with your work experience. This pilot is a pathway for experienced, non-seasonal workers in certain industries and occupations.

 

Requirements

  • A job offer from a Canadian employer in one of the eligible occupations.
  • Job offer must be non-seasonal.
  • 1 year of full-time non-seasonal Canadian work experience as a Temporary Foreign Worker in the last 3 years in one or more of the eligible occupations under one of the eligible industries.
  • Language requirements of CLB4, in English or French.
  • Canadian high school diploma or ECA report.
  • Must prove settlement funds to support yourself and family members, even if not accompanying you to Canada.
